NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Coldwater Creek Awards Grant to Washington Washington Junior High received a $1000 grant from Coldwater Creek -The Spa to help support reading at our school. For the past year and a half, Barb Zigterman, an employee at Coldwater Creek, has volunteered two days a week to read with many of our struggling readers. Due to her commitment to our students, we have been awarded this grant. Our thanks and appreciation go out to Barb and Naperville Coldwater Creek. Parent University Deadline January 6 Whether your child is in preschool or high school, Parent University offers all parents an opportunity to attend a day of fun, interactive workshops on a wide range of parenting topics presented by local child and adolescent development experts. The 2009 event will take place on Saturday, January 24, from 8:15 AM – 3 PM at Naperville Central High School, 440 W. Aurora Avenue. The cost for registration is $25 per person and includes continental breakfast, the keynote address, 3 individual workshops and lunch.
