About Home and School:

The Home and School organization is here to provide special school activities and fund raising for the school and is open to all parents of Steeple Run Students.  Home and School has raised money for playground equipment, board games for inside recess, library tables and books, field trips and many other extras that our children use during and after school.  In addition, they plan fun activities such as the Holiday Parties, Assemblies, Hot Lunches, Ice Cream Social, Reading Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Red Ribbon Week and 1st day of School Parent Brunch.  Home and School is always looking for new volunteers to help out.  They also put together the student directory, year book and Star Dollars.  Feel free to come to the meetings or just call a committee chair to volunteer! We'd love to see you.

About SFCP:

School, Family and Community Partnership (SFCP) is the committee that works toward involving these three groups in addressing the school improvement goals.  Programs and projects strive to augment the work done by teachers and administrators toward the various school improvement goals.  In the past, SFCP worked to "improve literacy", for example, by creating Family Reading Night, or "celebrate cultural diversity" by sponsoring International Night.  They have also sponsored Math Nights, Game Nights, Turn Off the TV Week and service projects.
