LRC Volunteers

The LRC welcomes adult literacy volunteers who read with our students on a daily basis. At an LRC Orientation early in the school year, volunteers sign up to read for short periods of time one day a week with first and second grade students. The time may vary, but usually the volunteers begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish at 10:10 a.m. Anyone interested in becoming a literacy volunteer may contact the LRC director at 630 420-6578.
