The City of Naperville and the Naperville Police Department wish to remind residents that a new law went into effect as of January 1, 2010, wich bans talking on cellular phones while in construction and School Speed Zones.

Another new law makes it illegal to compose, send or read text messages, read or compose e-mail, look at the Internet or otherwise compose or send any type of electronic message while driving.

DON'T USE CELL PHONES WHILE DRIVING IN SCHOOL ZONES!

SPOTLIGHT

First Graders Sponsor Therapy Dog!
How can a dog make you feel better? Our first graders have worked hard to raise money for the Edward Hospital Animal Assisted Therapy Program. They have sponsored many dogs over the past years. Our first graders raise money at home doing chores and helping out. This money is then donated to the hospital to pay for the training of a therapy dog. These dogs visit hospitalized patients for a lot of furry cheer. Look in the hospital lobby for the R.V. plaques we are so proud of. Our dogs are pictured outside of our first grade pod. First graders are rewarded with the wonderful feeling that comes when they help someone in need.
