Prairie Math Event Named as a National Model

Prairie Elementary School's Math Night is featured in the National Network of Partnership School's (NNPS) Math Sampler. The examples in NNPS' Sampler include various ways to organize math nights, workshops for parents and other creative activities. Prairie School is Collecting for Our Troops

To coincide with Veterans' Day 2009, students and staff are invited to participate in Operation Support Our Troops. Begun in 2003 by District 203 mom Debi Rickert to send supplies to our soldiers overseas, Operation Support Our Troops has grown from the basement of her Naperville home to a multimillion dollar initiative occupying two warehouses. Donations are being accepted at all District 203 building sites through Friday, November 13. To view the Top 10 list of items being sought, see the flyer by clicking here.

Celebrating Peace

The City of Naperville has proclaimed October 15 through November 15, 2009, as a month-long Celebration of Peace. District 203 and District 204, in partnership with ThinkGlobal Arts Foundation, are participating in this special event.
