PRAIRIE SCHOOLS ANNUAL SPRING BOOK FAIR
Let’s “Spring into Reading” at our Annual Book Fair! Check out the blooming selection of books provided by Anderson’s Book Fair Company, Monday, March 8 through Friday, March 12. Our Spring Book Fair will be "Tax Exempt (NO TAX)"! As you know, Anderson’s is a local, family owned business that has been serving the reading needs of Northern Illinois for over 130 years. Anderson’s Book Fair is the perfect place to dig up some new books for friends, family, or even yourself! Kick back, relax, and read a good book! Anderson’s has something for everyone! Hope to see you there! The Book Fair will be open during the following hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., Thursday 5:00-8:30 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

DOODLE 4 GOOGLE
Once again, your K-5 elementary school students have an opportunity to participate in an optional design contest titled Doodle 4 Google. Please go to the web site to acquire more detailed information and to print up necessary forms. All doodles and accompanying documents must be submitted to Mrs. Noel Anderson, Art Teacher, by Wednesday, March 10. Prairie staff members will select six doodles to represent our school in the doodle competition. Go to www.google.com/doodle4google/ to learn more about this year’s theme: “If I Could Do Anything, I Would…”

JASON’S DELI NIGHT OUT
All students, families and faculty are invited to participate in a Prairie Elementary fundraising event on Wednesday, March 10. Everyone is invited to gather at Jason's Deli, 1739 Freedom Drive, #137, Naperville (630-955-1179) for lunch, dinner or a snack. On this day, 10% of all food purchases (accompanied by the certificate you received in your child’s backpack) will be donated to Prairie Elementary School.

2010-2011 school supply lists were sent home with students last week. Order forms were attached for those who wish to purchase a school supply kit and/or headphones from Prairie Home & School. SCIENCE FAIR DISPLAY BOARDS
Did you pick up your Science Fair Display Board from the LRC? If you participated in the science fair, but forgot to pick up your science fair display board from the LRC before it was taken down, I still have it, if you still want it. ON EXHIBIT...DISTRICT 203 ART SHOW: PIECING ART THROUGH THE AGES
The art show titled “Piecing Art Through the Ages” is scheduled for exhibition from February 27-March 23 at the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 South Eagle Street in Naperville. There will be a community Open House Evening Reception on Tuesday, March 2 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. This K-12 art show exhibits representative works from all of our District 203 schools.
