About the Health Office

Naperville North High School Health office provides a wide range of services to the students:

·         Monitors and assists students with their every day health needs as well as those with more challenging physical requirements

·         Emergency care of illnesses and injuries

·         Administration of medications

·         Maintains and monitors student immunization and health records

·         Works with counselors, social workers, psychologists, deans and all staff for comprehensive care

·         Conducts vision and hearing screenings

·         Issues a comprehensive health concerns list to staff

·         Monitors any infectious diseases in the school and reports to county health department

·         Communicates with parents regarding health regulations and requirements

·         Manages elevator keys  and special passes for students with disabilities

·         Participates in counseling groups

·         Refers students to agencies that can help with specific needs
