College of DuPage will award 50 full-tuition Presidential Scholar Awards to 2010 high school graduates who attend COD.  Recipients will be admitted into the Honors program and must complete 15 Honors credit hours in their program.  Applicants must have an ACT composite score of 27, with a minimum of 23 in Math, 21 in Reading and 20 in English.  They must also have an unweighted GPA of 3.75 or higher and submit an essay as part of the application which is due this coming Monday, March 15.  The application is available at http://home.cod.edu/financialAid/scholarships.  Click on 2010 – 2011 Presidential Scholar Award.  A transcript is required with this application.  Please see the registrar in Student Services 1 by this Friday, March 12 if you are planning to apply and need your transcript.

The deadline for registration for AP exams is Monday, March 15. Students need to turn in their registration materials to the Student Services 1 office by that date. There is no late registration. However, registrations will be accepted during Parent Teacher conferences, that is, up to noon on Friday, March 12.

Preparations are now underway for Cotton Club North, the 21^st Annual '40s Dance scheduled for Sunday, April 18, 2010. Cotton Club North is an evening of incredible musical performances by our very own talented NNHS jazz musicians and vocalists. The event also features raffles and auction items.
