The Naperville North Booster Club will host its 10th annual Seniors on Parade fashion show fundraiser on Sunday, February 21, 2010 (see below in "Spotlights" for full details).

Preparations are now underway for Cotton Club North, the 21st Annual ‘40s Dance scheduled for Sunday, April 18, 2010. Cotton Club North is an evening of incredible musical performances by our very own talented NNHS jazz musicians and vocalists. The event also features raffles and auction items. This year’s dance is being held at Bobak’s Signature Room (in Woodridge–10 minutes from North) from 5p-9p.  Click on each of these links for more information about the EVENT, about SWING DANCE LESSONS, about the RAFFLE/AUCTION, and about AD SALES for the PROGRAM.

SPOTLIGHT

2010 HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL

Registration for High School Summer School and Summer Driver's Education will begin on Thursday, January 21st, 2010. The Course Description Guide and registration forms are available on the District 203 Website at:

Copies of the Course Description Guides will be available at the junior high schools and high schools next week. Registration forms may be turned in beginning at 7:00 am on January 21st inside the main entrance at both Naperville Central High School and Naperville North High School.

VFW Plans to Honor Educators
Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 is proud to announce the second Kendall Honors awards program. This program was instituted to honor the unsung heroes of the Naperville community. The Post will honor the policeman of the year, the firefighter of the year, and the educators of the year at the elementary, middle/junior high and high school levels in Districts 203 and 204.  Any Naperville resident or resident of Districts 203 and 204 can nominate their candidate for policeman of the year, fireman of the year or educator of the year. The application forms are on the VFW 3873 website, www.napervfw3873.org. They are on the menu on the left. The nomination forms say, Nominate Police, Nominate Fireman, Nominate Teacher. The forms are interactive and will come directly to the committee when you click submit. Or you can mail the form to the Post at 908 West Jackson, Naperville, IL 60540.
 
NNHS Fashion Show Fundraiser Feb 21

NNHS Fashion Show Fundraiser -- Feb 21   The Naperville North Booster Club will host its 10th annual Seniors on Parade fashion show fundraiser on Sunday, February 21, 2010 starting at 11 AM at Bobak's Signature Room in Woodridge.  This year's event theme is Groovy Seniors: a retrospective on the 1960s.  Over 100 seniors will represent the Class of 2010 as they walk the runway modeling fashions from a variety of local independent retailers as well as national chains. Doors open at 11 AM for raffle prize viewing and a performance by the NNHS Jazz Band. Lunch begins at 12:15 PM, followed by the fashion show at 1:30 PM.  Early bird tickets are available through February 1 for $35/person and $20 for both NNHS students & children under 12. 

Click Here: for an order form.  Ticket prices will go up to $40/person and $25 for NNHS students and children after February 1.  All proceeds go directly to the NNHS Booster Club so they can continue to financially support all North extra-curricular teams, clubs and activities.
