Milers

Description: This walking/running club was established to promote fitness in an enjoyable atmosphere. Two mornings a week in the fall and the spring, Milers walk or run around the north field of Maplebrook School. The number of laps each participant completes is recorded. Individual records are kept as well as a group cumulative total of miles. A "Turkey Trot" is held in November of each year.
Participants: Kindergarten - fifth grade students, parents/guardians, siblings, Maplebrook staff
Schedule: Two sessions are offered each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Milers meet Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:40-8:10 a.m., Sept-Nov & April-May.
