The Counseling staff from Naperville Central High School will be at Madison next Wednesday, December 11th to kick off the high school course selection process. At that time, eighth grade students will receive registration materials and get the chance to meet their future high school counselor. On that day, students will report to 1st period classes for attendance and announcements and then will proceed to their meetings. <<more>>
Are you ready for a challenge? On Tuesday, December 10th Madison students will begin the annual National Geographic Geography Bee. Put your geographic knowledge to the test and compete for the Gold Medal of geographic knowledge. Students who win the school bee have a chance to compete at the state level. Practice questions can be found on line at Nationalgeographic.com. The contest is open to all sixth, seventh and eighth graders. We will begin after school on Tuesday, December 10th in room 165. Please see Mr. Glogowski or ask your social studies teacher for additional information.
Celebrate the holiday season with Madison's musicians at the Winter Musicale, Tuesday, December 10 at 7:00 in the Cafetorium. This concert will feature 6th Grade Choir, Bluegrass Strings, Jazz Ensemble, Men's Chorale, Women's Chorale, Chime In! Chime Choir and Joyful Noise Chime Choir.
Students involved should be at school by 6:30 pm wearing their Madison Music shirt and black pants or skirts.
Welcome to the December issue of “What’s Up, Warhawk?” for the Madison Junior High parent community.
