Mrs. Weber

Mrs. Weber received her Bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1983 from Northern Illinois University with an emphasis in English, and her Master's degree in reading from Northern Illinois University in 1988. Mrs. Weber began her teaching career in 1983. Over the years she has taught fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders. She began her career at Kennedy when the school first opened in 1989.

She belongs to the International Reading Association and is published in The Journal of Reading. She is certified to teach kindergarten – 12^th grade. Mrs. Weber loves reading the latest research regarding reading and content-area strategies and has an extreme passion for vocabulary and grammar.

She and her husband have a son who is a sophomore in high school and a daughter who is in eighth grade. Mrs. Weber loves to read, collect antiques, and spend time with her family. She is also occasionally known to diagram sentences just for the fun of it!
