Mrs. Laura Golebiewski is very happy to be a part of the NOVA team this year teaching two terrific subjects, science and social science.

She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (University of Missouri), an M.B.A.(Western New England College) and a Masters in Education (DePaul University).

Along with her husband Jerry, she enjoys going to visit her son Bob who is a senior at Mizzou and watching the Tigers win.  Her daughter Christine (also a Mizzou graduate) is now teaching 7th grade Language Arts and Math in Plainfield, IL.

She loves to spend time reading and sewing and tries to exercise with yoga and walking.  If she can find someone who possesses a lot of patience, she has been know to attempt to golf.  As soon as she can, she hopes to return to playing clarinet in the Benedictine University/Community Concert band.

Her ideal vacation is to go anywhere there is a river, lake or ocean.

A fun fact is that she has lived in six different states and 12 different towns.
