The Star Team Philosophy

The Star Team values unique skills and abilities of each individual student, while working to promote self-reliance, self-responsibility, and appropriate interdependence on the Star team teachers and students.

Much like a neighborhood is a close-knit safe haven in a larger community, the Star team provides its students with a smaller, closer group within Jefferson Junior High School. Our Star team goal includes recognizing the universal need for students to progress academically, while taking into account the varied strengths and challenges that each has throughout the course of a school day.
