Builder’s Club needs JJHS families help in making Jefferson a prettier place for the summer months.  We will be planting approximately 300 flowers and seedlings around the grounds of Jefferson on Saturday May 19th, 2012 from approximately 8am-11am RAIN OR SHINE.  Please bring hand tools, wagons, shovels, gardening gloves etc.  Email Ms. Mickelson if you can assist for any amount of time on May 19th.  No gardening skills necessary!

Mark your calendars for some big fun on Tuesday, May 22nd!  The annual Dodgeball for Charity tournment will be held that day from 3 to 6 in the Wood and Tile Gyms.  In order to participate, get your team together and sign up May 15th, 16th or 17th before school or during lunch for the minimal cost of $2 per person.  All proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Here's some more specifics:

• You only play your own grade and gender; no co-ed or co-grade teams
• Faculty plays the 8th grade winning team at the end of the tournament
• Medals for each division winner
• Prize for best costumed team
• Visitors welcome
• Tournament is being run by Mr. Sniadecki’s Social Science Student Government Officers for Team Epic

We're near the finish line! Bear in mind that dressing up for the Awards Assembly on the 25th is expected,  but for the remaining days, brainstorm and coordinate with your friends to show your Patriot Pride for the following themes:
