The 8th grade Moving On Ceremony is Thursday, May 23rd at 1:00 p.m.  Doors will not open until 12:30 p.m.  Please enter at Door #3 which is on the south (Bauer) side of the building.  Due to space limitations, only ticketed family members will be admitted. Join us to help make the 2013 G.L.O.W. 5K Run/Walk for Reading, Naperville’s very first evening 5K Run, a successful event on Saturday, June 1st at 8:00 pm, at 5th Avenue Station.   All proceeds from this event  go to the Jeannie Nicarico Memorial Fund for Literacy, which enhances literacy programs throughout Dist. 203, Dist. 204 and area private schools.  This year Jefferson will be honored at the Walk with a grant to help support a Family Literacy Night next year!!

You can pre-register online at www.naperglow5k.com.  Prizes will be awarded to the school with the highest % participation, along with awards for the Best “glowing” team and Individual.  Grab some friends and join in the fun.  Additional information can be found on this flyer and posters throughout the school. Jefferson's Home and School is offering families the opportunity to purchase 2013-2014 school supply packets. Summer music is open to JJHS Patriot Band and Orchestra members.  Clink on the link to see a printable copy of the brochure.  Brochures are also available by our main office and in the band room.

Look what’s new at Jefferson!  JJHS has joined the Boxtops for Education Program and needs your participation to make it a success!  You can click on the link to the Boxtops for Education website to learn about which products have the valuable boxtop symbol, and start clipping, saving and sending them in with your child to JJHS.  Submit them in a plastic bag, an envelope or even just one or two at time.  We’re not fussy!  There are collection boxes near the main doors and near the LRC.  Each boxtop is usually worth .10 cents, sometimes more, but together they all add up to an easy way to earn extra money to support the JJHS Patriots!
