The National World War I Memorial Exhibit will be on display for public viewing on Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 to 4:00. The exhibit will feature the photographic images of the last living veterans of World War I, as they are shown at the Pentagon. While visiting the exhibit, visitors can walk through a student-created trench, try on a soldier’s uniform and gas mask, have a snack at the Doughboy Diner, and learn about all aspects of the war, including World War I's impact on Naperville and its residents. Entrance to the exhibit is free, but donations will be accepted to restore and rededicate the World War I Memorial in D.C. to all veterans of The Great War. Help us to honor these forgotten heroes.

Nani Agbeli, will be visiting Jefferson on November 3rd and 4th as part of the "Artist in Residence" program. Mr. Agbeli performs traditional drumming and dance from his native country, Ghana, and will share with us his culture and his quest for world peace. He is brought to us as part of World Peace Month, and he will return on the evening on November 14th to talk to, and to entertain the entire Naperville community.
