Safety Patrols

Fifth grade students are the safety patrol persons. Their responsibility is to guide the children safely during arrival and dismissal times. The safety patrol will not be responsible for student misconduct, but will model and encourage exemplary behavior. Also, he/she will in no way be in a position to direct vehicular traffic. Those duties will be the responsibility of the Safety Director and the teachers.

Students may cross at the corner of Magnolia Lane and Sycamore by themselves.  They may also cross at the corner of Magnolia Lane and Elmwood by themselves.  These intersections have a Safety Director there.

Students must be crossed at Magnolia Lane and Spruce Street (across from Elmwood's main entrance) by their parent/responsible adult. TEACHERS CANNOT CROSS STUDENTS HERE!

Patrols are assigned positions from 7:55 to 8:10A.M. and 2:30 to 2:40 P.M.
