Literature Club

4th and 5th Graders

     Do you like to read?  Do you like to talk about great books?  Then Elmwood's Literature Club is the place for you.  Literature Club is open to all Elmwood fourth and fifth graders.  We currently meet every Friday morning in Ms. Richard's room from 7:25 – 8:10. 
     Literature Club members have an opportunity to read and discuss a wide range of books from Naperville's Battle of the Books list.  There are exciting incentives for reading, along with a variety of activities, guest speakers, and games, where quality literature is the focus.  Our club also sponsors a school wide Book Swap in the spring to help provide books for inner city Chicago schools.
     All Literature Club members have the chance to try out for Elmwood's Battle of the Books Team and compete in April with other District 203 schools.
