Run for Reading

5K Run for Reading

On Sunday, May 20, the Jeanine Nicarico Literacy Foundation will host the annual 5K Run for Reading. Registration is available online. The walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. at River Woods Elementary School, 2607 River Woods Drive. For more information, visit www.nicaricoliteracyfund.org. Pre-Register at www.signmeup.com or on race day from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. at River Woods.

Summer School 2012

Elementary Summer School will be June 7-July 27 and will be held at Scott School.

Kindergarten Preview

Elmwood's Kindergarten Preview was held on April 19, 2012.

If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2012, or if you have a neighbor with a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, please call the Elmwood School Office (630-420-6341).

Also, if you have a child attending another Kindergarten program who will be starting First Grade at Elmwood in the Fall of 2012, please notify us as soon as possible. This information is vital to our planning!
