Beebe Book Club

Beebe Book Club is for second and third grade students only. Every month starting November through March, the book club kids will be assigned one book to read and comprehend. Parent volunteers will then moderate monthly book discussions with students in groups of six to seven kids. A simple activity associated with the book may also be assigned to the book club kids. Books are chosen by the Book Club chairpersons, keeping the specific grade-level curriculum in mind so as to complement the syllabus productively.

 

Book discussions are held once a month during recess and these discussions do not interfere with the students’ daily class schedule.
