Battle of the Books

Our BOBLT club is a combination of the Battle of the Books (BOB) and Literature Club provided for our fourth and fifth grade students.  We meet twice a month throughout the school year and engage in various literacy activities that support titles taken from the district BOB book list. At mid-year, students are given an opportunity to try-out for our BOB team. In the spring, these teams—one from each grade level—represent Beebe Elementary in competition against other fourth and fifth grade students in our district. The underlying goal of both Battle of the Books and Literature Club is to support our school improvement and District goal to promote lifelong literacy.
